I wanted to show the different processes and steps to a final masterpiece – in this case, “Falling in Love”, a painting from earlier this year. The creation of this 80 inch tall painting started with a charcoal study of the light and dark, progressing to the small oil paint etude and concluding with the dizzying final.
Life-size, her dream looks as if it may fall into our own.
